Disable Login Screen After Sleep Windows 10

How to Turn On Automatic Logon in Windows Using the Registry Editor? Let’s consider a more common way to disable password request on Windows 10 login screen using the Registry Editor. This way allows to skip login screen for a Microsoft account, as well as domain or local Windows 10 account. Some users don’t take their computers along with them or just don’t want to be prompted for their password each time they start-up their computer from Sleep or Hibernate. You can disable this prompt from showing up quite easily. Disable Password Prompt after Sleep. Click on the Start button and type Power Options, then choose Power Options.

If the computer is set set to standby or hibernate and wakes up, I always see two(!) screens: first, some picture I don't want to see that Windows takes somehere and which is totally useless, and when this picture is clicked, I get a second screen with a button labeled 'Login', and only after these two clicks I am taken to the desktop.

I'm on the newest AU update. Pro 64. Currently when I boot up from shut down I get my desktop. However, when I return from sleep I have to click the 'Sign In' button before I see my desktop. This effectively makes the PC unusable as an HTPC.

I've read posts after post about turning off the SPLASH screen BEFORE the sign in screen and have that disabled. However, I cannot find a way to disable the second screen and go straight to the desktop.

Settings I've checked:

Power Options. There is supposed to be a setting in there that others see for requiring a password after wake. I don't see this.

Sign-in options: Others see a field stating 'Require Sign-in' which you can set to Never. I don't have this either. It seems to have been replaced by some bullshit called Windows Hello, which apparently isn't available on my device...

Does anyone know how to disable this. I just want to see my desktop after sleep, why does Microsoft make this so difficult.
