  Nono I mean just changing stuff like the shaders, like a minecraft resourse pack.
• There is no shader but here is a link to a simmer that makes lighting mods for Sims 3. It may not look too similiar but it will provide a similar color palette.

  Turn graphics down from high to medium and turn your monitor's saturation up. There, your game now looks like sims 4. I don't understand why people think ts4 graphics look better than ts3. Less aliasing maybe but at higher resolutions (I play 1440p) you don't see aliasing anyway. Ts4 is so cartoony, over-saturated and low grade. Ts3's details are still superior.

• I don't know why any Sims 3 fan would want their game to look like Sims 4; I know I don't. That said, I do use lighting mods but they don't make my game resemble ts4's graphics.

  That's great you found a lighting mod that you like but I hope you realize that it only effects the sky. It's not going to change your sims. For that you will need to find skin and eyes. Some links here for that: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/901235

• Yeah, I know that I love how the sims look already! I just hated the sky and lighting, I prefer the cartoony style of the sims 4.
• @Harrison I think you need like some new skins and makeup, as well as environmental lighting mods. If you want that super bright cartoony look.
  What exactly do you want to emulate? I've actually seen a lot of TS4 sims game stuff that looks very similar to TS2. So?
  I would suggest a Kurasoberina skin, brntwaffles lighting (like you got), sweet fx, some sort of brntwaffles eye default.

  There are a ton of CC worlds out there that would do well, as well as TS4 - TS3 CC items you can get (check Around the sims) SO many really good conversions. Google ts3-ts4 conversions, it will bring up a lot of good build/buy items and clothes.

  I really like both, Im planing on starting a save in the sims 3. They both have their ups and downs, but I think that just makes them speical .

  Me too ! But I feel tired after making my sim and finding a house for them in sims 4 .idk why.but I do like some things in it that I wish I could get into it like i do sims 3 .
  I always wondered what people would have thought if they made grass mowing and vacuuming floors optional

  I wouldn't mind if it was optional as I always hated the weeds in S2 if any landscaping was placed. Can't I just have pretty flowers and no extra chores? Ah, a lot like real life.

Anyway - I got really confused with weeds started springing up all over the lawn on my Sim's home lot. It was in Sims 3. I tried digging them up and my sim was able to get rid of them - but they came back. I wondered how the maker got them into the world. It was very interesting.

  That might have been one of those little house challenges that you and your sims are being offered to take on or reject when they move into a new house. It could be insect infestations, meteors, ghosts because the lot is an ancient indian burial ground, weeds growing all over the lawn, broken plumbing leaving puddles on the floor and so on.
  It has happened several times in my game too, and I don't have any custom worlds, only EA made ones.
